Biopsy in Ulcerative Colitis
124.2 This patient with chronic ulcerative colitis and multiple scars is undergoing surveillance colonoscopy. Multiple biopsies are taken throughout the colon for dysplasia. In this patient, no evidence of dysplasia was seen, and the colitis was completely inactive.
