Familial Adenomatous Polyps (FAP)

124.4 Patients with familial adenomatous polyposis have innumerable polyps in the colon, and here large, small, sessile and pedunculated polyps are seen. These cannot be removed endoscopically. Patients with FAP need total proctocolectomy to protect against cancer.
